Give Your PHR a Workout

                Give Uour PHR a Workout

Happy new year!  You’ve made your resolutions, decided to lose weight or pursue a healthier lifestyle, and started going to the gym.  Have you ever stopped to think about what might happen if you were to collapse and become unresponsive during your workout at the gym?  Who would be able to provide emergency responders critical information about your health history and medications?

If you carry a PHR in your purse or gym bag, others might not know which locker your personal belongings are, so it would be useless in this situation.  Consider asking your gym about setting up a system for members to maintain personal health records, which may be accessed in case of emergency.
